Puff pastry dumplings with pistachio cream and apples are a refined and tasty dessert, perfect to surprise your guests or to treat yourself to a moment of pure pleasure. The combination of the sweetness of the apples, the unique flavour of the pistachios and the crunchiness of the puff pastry makes these dumplings a real treat for the palate.

 200 g Pistì pistachio cream
 1 rectangular puff pastry roll
 4 ladyfingers
 1 apple
 1 egg
 2 tablespoons of sugar (one for the wetting and one for the brushing)
 a glass of lukewarm water
 icing sugar to taste

Cut the puff pastry into 4 equal parts. Place two ladyfingers on each rectangle and brush them with the previously prepared syrup made with water and a tablespoon of sugar.

Place a generous teaspoon of pistachio cream on top and top with the apple segments.

Close the dumplings as shown in the video, brush them with an egg beaten with a tablespoon of sugar.
Place in baking tin with baking paper and bake at 180° in a ventilated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
