With roots firmly planted in Bronte and a desire to combine experience in pistachio processing with the most modern business models, we have become a reference point in pistachio processing and the production of traditional sweets.
Sons of the land of green gold and fathers of the first pistachio cream spread, since 1999 we have been creating artisanal creations that encapsulate and narrate the richness and uniqueness of Sicily.

OUR HISTORY
Since 1999 into the future
We were born small among the pistachio groves of Bronte's Oro verde DOP. We grew strong by choosing the best fruits of our land. We grew big by treasuring the past and always looking to the future. We are the Sicily of dreams and feet firmly planted on the ground. The quest for excellence to make the difference. The competence of each, the strength of all. That's us, together the Pistì generation.
1999
With roots firmly planted in Bronte, knowledge of pistachios handed down from generations of producers and a great entrepreneurial spirit, two friends Nino Marino and Vincenzo Longhitano open a small Sicilian confectionery workshop. Pistì was born.
2001
The competition for pistachio specialities is fierce and a new idea is needed to emerge. Drawing heavily on their imagination, the two young entrepreneurs create the first pistachio spread and present it at the CIBUS trade fair, the public decrees its success.
2007
The triumph of the pistachio spread, together with that of the small pastries and large Pistì leavened products, caused the number of orders to grow exponentially and the company purchased a 4,000 square metre production facility in the Bronte artisan area to develop production activities.
2018
Pistì received the prestigious 'Promoting Excellence to Support Growth' award from Banca Intesa San Paolo, in recognition of its decisive contribution to relaunching the Sicilian economy through innovation, internationalisation, sustainability and the promotion of 'Made in Italy'.
2021
With a turnover of more than 50 million euros, the company is a solid player on the international market, but the focus on quality, craftsmanship and the quest for excellence remain firm points. Impressed by the growth, major international companies decide to invest in the company.
2025
Pistì celebrates 25 years in business. 25 years of unique and unforgettable goodness. 25 years of irresistible delicacies that look to the future.
