If you are looking for a dessert to make for Valentine's Day, these biscuits are for you. Made with dark chocolate and filled with Pistì pistachio cream.

To prepare the chocolate biscuits with a heart of Pistì cream, start by chopping the chocolate Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie with the flame at minimum, taking care not to let water come into contact with the chocolate.

Once melted, leave to cool. Meanwhile, grind the flour together with the cold butter in a mixer.

Transfer the mixture into a large bowl and add the sugar, the melted, now warm chocolate, the previously beaten egg yolks and the baking powder.

Quickly mix the ingredients until a homogeneous dough is created.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

After the resting time has elapsed, roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of just under 1 cm (we recommend placing the dough between two sheets of baking paper to help you roll it out). Cut out the base of the biscuits with large heart-shaped moulds.

On half of the bases make an additional cut with a smaller stencil to create the upper part of the biscuit. Bake the biscuits for 7 to 8 minutes in a ventilated oven preheated to 160° (static oven 180° for 15 min).

Once the biscuits are baked, let them cool before proceeding with the filling Spread the Pistì cream on the base and place the heart-shaped topping.

Now let's enjoy these delicious biscuits filled with Pistì cream.
