 A roll of puff pastry
 100 g mortadella
 100 g cheese (provoletta or edamer)
 Pistachio Pesto Pistì q.b.
 Grits q.b.
 Egg for brushing.

Roll from the long side and cut into approximately two-finger portions, trying to make them as equal as possible.

Arrange the resulting swivels facing upwards in order first four, then three, then two and one at the top. If you have managed to make 11 swivels, one will be used to make the log. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180° for 30 minutes.
